On Demand Advertising

What Is It?
FYI On Demand provides select local advertising content on Time Warner Cable digital channel 980.  Using “I Control” technology Northeastern Wisconsin consumers have the ability to view television information they need, when it’s convenient for them.

How Does It Work?
Video On Demand (VOD) technology allows consumers to call up your message at any time from the comfort of their sofa, simply by using the television remote control.  VOD can pause, forward, rewind, or re-watch any or all of your program…just like a VCR.

Where Is It Available?
Time Warner Cable VOD is a FREE service available throughout our Northeastern Wisconsin service area to all subscribers of our digital service.  Currently more than 65,000 households are TWC digital subscribers, with the number growing quickly.

Has VOD Been Proven Effective?
Yes!  Time Warner Cable launched Wisconsin On Demand (channel 999) with fantastic results.  More than 5,000 VOD views are registered each month on WIOD.

Can I Change My Message?
Weekly changes are available.  Deadline for the following week’s changes is COB on Wednesday.
